Supported Contact

Value Me Family Services offers Child Contact Support that can be done in a number of neutral places in which children can build and sustain healthy relationships with non-resident parents and other family members.

This service is ideal for families where there is no significant risk to the child or those around the child has been identified. This service aims to help families improve and repair their relationships, as well as foster greater interaction in the future.

Supported Contact helps families to build shared confidence  in a agreed location that will support children with contact. With all supported contact sessions, we provide a summary detailing our observations. This is not a detailed report.

If a potential risk to children or adults is present, supported contact is not appropriate. In this case, supervised contact could be considered.
